ON THE JOB at all fire drills, air raid practices and building excavations are the ever-ready fire squad members. MAPES' LITTLE SQUAD of junior boys are Lincoln's real traffic cops. They keep school streets open, rope off reserved areas, and enforce local traffic laws, Their white safety belts and yellow signs are symbols of authority. Chief: Rod- erick Nolte. SWINGING INTO ACTIVITY, the l-li-Y financed the basketball schedules. engaged banquet speakers, and organized a basketball team.
