19 4 2 Freshmen never have been the bright-eyed, dear little crea- tures they are supposed to be. We ourselves came to Lincoln expecting high school to give us certain things. We got some of them, and we didn't get others. We've been the goats ot teeble attempts at razzing, which we've learned to expect. But the tun of football games, of chewing gum unnoticed through one whole class period, and of being the member of a lively class .hasn't passed us by. We carried around petitions and turned out to vote for our friends and our friends' friends, and as a result, tour super-freshmen were elected. There they stand: Grace Milette, Treasurer, Charles Davis, Vice-president, Elaine Bjelland, Secretary, Bill Cox, President, with Mrs. Ella Willard, who admits her pride in their fine scholastic and leadership records.
