' Q FROM A BUNCH OF ROSES given Every member of the cast showed careful preparation and faithful work Each person seemed to be inspired with the spirit of doing his or her very best In a word loyalty to the Athen aeum desire for the best of results and effort for work worthy of a umor shone in every face from that of the stern Mr Petlove down to the sweet little romantic maid Higgs lxathleen Connor showed her ability both as an actress and in her portrayal of the modern wife As a young society belle no other than Miss Mary Bestor could have filled the part so successfully Barrett Herrick showed his abiltty as an actor by the interpretation of his part as well as an entertamer with his whistling between acts The sur prise of the evening was a successful interpretation by Amy Sheck els of the part of the romantic old maid. Paul Baisden showed no mean ability as a suitor and one would have thought that the tall dignified butler as taken by Carl Draves had served in the English Royalty.
