Important among these is on excellent athletic department with one of the finest gymnasiums in the state, and well-trained, hard-work- ing coaches. Proof of this departments success is both tangible as pictured above, and intangible as evidenced by the exceptional citizens influenced by this department. X The work of this group begins but never really ends. Their influence extends into every field: scouting, summer sports such as swimming, baseball, and softballg winter sports such as skiing, skating, and bowling, and numerous other recreational activities.
