Au Revoir THIS SPRING TEACHERS AND STUDENTS ARE BIDDING FAREWELL TO MISS LOUISE WILLIAMS WATSON, WHO HAS SPENT ALMOST HER ENTIRE LIFETIME AS A TEACHER IN LINCOLN. AFTER ATTENDING THE D. P. THOMPSON SCHOOL, MISS WATSON ENTERED THE OLD LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL AT FOURTEENZIH AND MORRISON, WHERE SHE STUDIED UNDER MANY OP THE GREAT TEACHERS OF' THE DAY, INCLUDING THE LATE MR. T. T. DAVIS, MISS MARY BERTHA MOORE, MISS CAROLINE BARNES, MISS CHRISTINA MCCONNELL, AND FRAU HENRIETTE MUNDT. ALTHOUGH MISS WATSON WAS EXCEEDINGLY FROFICIENT IN MATHEMATICS, SHE PARTICULARLY LIKED LANGUAGES AND LITERATURE. AT MARYLHURST COLLEGE, SHE MAJORED IN LANGUAGES. , AFTER ONE YEAR OR TEACHING IN A PAROCHIAL SCHOOL, MISS WATSON Mass Louise wwafson English CAME TO LINCOLN AS AN ENGLISH TEACHER, AND HERE SHE HAS SEEN GENERATIONS OF CLASSES COME AND GO FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS.
