it f What is a year out of life? Everyone has his own answer. There are many different possibilities: growth, maturity, distress, setbacks, laughter, communication, acceptance, control. . . in short, almost every combination of emotions and intertwined relationships the mind can produce. l've just spent the past year at Lincoln as a member of a diver- se group held together by the promise of a better next year. In my own way l looked back, and found. . . the basic traits of any human being anywhere, in any society. They seemed more apparent here because the whole spectrum was in capsule form, and sometimes capsules are hard to swallow. A The people who went here and worked here contributed what they wished, and obtained exactly in proportion as they contributed. It was always my great wish to do something beneficial in the world.
