Lincoln College's 1950-51 basketball team pre- sented a perfect example of why college coaches turn grey. Coach John Ryman's boys posted an overall season's record of 8 wins and 8 losses, but Ryman had his hands full keeping track of the many squad member losses. In spite of a great height disadvantage through- out the year, the Lynx presented a 5-3 conference record as well as a 7-3 record against junior col- lege teams. Rymanis consolation for his grey hairs was the winning of the Richard K. Goodman travel- ling trophy and a second place standing in the Illinois-Missouri conference.
