I am thankful to God that the Four- square Organization has officers pastors ex an- gelistists missionaries and members who have a definite vision for the future of the work. Concrete plans are being made some of which we are exen novx able to put into operation that will make our watchxxord: Around the World With the Foursquare Gospel a real- . ya Not so very many years ago the world knew only community, or local thinking. Re- cent events have caused us to become inter- national in thought and action. Terrible as the xxar has been it has speeded up research and scientific dexclopment xxhich xxill proxe to be of great help in the post xxar preaching of the Gospel Folloxxing the xxar xxorld traxcl xxill be a common thing We xxill be able to put our missionaries on giant Clipper planes and fly them to any location on the face of the earth in a comparatixely short time Railroad trains already streamlined and sxxift xxill be come excn more so huge ocean liners xxill ply the xxaxcs bearing missionaries in search of nexx conquests for Christ We look for a from coast to coast It is not unlikely that eventually a road xxill extend from the tip of South America on up into Canada and Alaska and excn across thc Bering Straits into Russia and thc Continent of Europe Certainly the Alcan I-Iighxxay xxhich vxas purely a quick xxar crisis effort is a long step in this diree tion Long and shortvxaxc radio likexxise xxill reach out farther than cxer before xxith the Gospel snatching brands from thc burn in The need is vxellknoxxn particullrly with regards to the foreign field Ior n stance in spite of the years of missionary en deavor and the splendid influence of Gener- alissimo and Madame Chiang Kai-Shek there are thousands of villages in China which have never heard the Gospel message among its 460 million people. China is the homeland of approximately one-fourth of all humanity. In the land of India only 6 million Chris- tians are a testimony for Christ among 240 million Hindus 78 million Moslems and 70 million untouchablesf On and on the ap- palling figures rollyfigures that spur us to greater effort and preparation for we believe that many doors which haxe formerly been closed to the Gospel will be opened after the war. The future holds much hope for the Foursquare Gospel, and by Godsgrace we are going on to great and still greater accom- plishments in fulfillment of the words of the Master, Occupy' till I come . oxf H.L'Q'QDRffI2'IfI'HlRT7 ONE 0 ' ' I Post- War 0pport:uut1es Io Preacl: the Gospel ' By r, c f , Phe S , sident Y i - x- . - . y . .nf , -s ., ' ' .,. .
