Although thev had an eleven loss-eight win record, it was con- sidered a Successful season because of the exeel- l-ent showing in the district tournament, The Min- ute Men downed the two favored teams, Fairburv and Seward, before losing two points to the York Dukes in the finals. Although it was a rather slack season, the coaches enjoyed the fact that most of the points were made by underclass- men. The leading point-getters for the season were as follows: Larry Perkins and Tom Sheldon in the discus and high hurdles, Gary Owens and Dick Stuckey in the 440, Steve Smith in the broad jump and Marvin Blodgett in the pole vault.
