Taking A Shot At Success Winning, it seems, has become a tra- dition at Lexington in recent years, and the Lady Bears basketball team has proved to be no exception. Ending the season with a record of 15-10, the Lady Bears claimed wins over area teams such as Brooks and Mars Hill. In the tourna- ments, they won one county and one area game. Stating that it was “the best season ever,” Coach Connie McGuire said that she was very happy with the winning year, and was extremely proud that the hard work of training and the long hours of practice paid off.
