OF LEAVES AND MEN Comes the time in the life of a leaf When the dreaded fall looms near. And he goes to join his forebears In their musty, mouldy bier. The newly fallen is taken aback Cast on a heap, in anonymous slime. He blows and scurries in futile Effort, praying for a retrogress in time.
