By strong leadership and fine ex- ample, you have demonstrated those per- sonal qualities needed to attain a satisfying degree of accomplishment in classroom activities and other aspects of school life. Your successful high school experiences could not have been realized withoutasense of purpose, a determination to perform as- signed tasks well, and a willingness to work hard to reach established goals. The years ahead will present even greater and more stimulating challenges than you have previously experienced. Whatever you choose for your life's work will place de- mands on you for more education, skills, and training, and an optimum development of potentialities. How well you meet these challenges will depend largely on how much you are willing to give of yourself to achieve commensurately with your po- tential.
