LVE I THE P0'l'LlGH'l' For six years the glare of a spotlight pinpoints our progress on the vast stage of life, while our town looks at us-from seventh graders to seniors-as XVhen a seventh grader first enters the junior Department. he hnds the whole experience awesome and just a little frightening. He makes friends with the 925 other students and learns to know the 38 teachers who will help him to become adjusted to his new environment. By the time he is in eighth grade his adaption is complete, and the ninth grade finds him better able to assume responsibility. As a sophomore in the Senior Department. with its enrollment number- ing 697 students and 41 faculty members, he must decide on one of the five courses offered, each with its choice of subjects. By his junior year, his spare time is filled with extra-curricular activ- ities, and his ambitions are nearer realization. Finally, his senior year Ends him a mature individual prepared to take his place among the people of our town. L
