Military Academy in 1897 with a B.S. degree and from Army War College in 1908 . . . received honorary LL.D.'s from Washington and Jefferson, Princeton, Yale, Columbia, Brown and Clark Universities . . . served in the U. S. Army from Cadet at West Point, 1893, until retirement as Senior Major General of the Army, 1938 . . . served as con- sultant to the Secretary of War during the Second World War and later as chairman of Far Eastern Commission . . . is President of the Leonard Wood Leprosy Founda- tion and Chairman of the Army Relief . . . is a member of the Board of the Equitable Life Assurance Society. HANNAH J, McCOY: Class of 1896 . . . graduated from Philadelphia School of Kindergartening in 1902 . . . a teacher in Lewistown . . . a social service worker with the Y.M.C.A. in France and Germany from 1919 to 1921 . . . Girls Work Secretary at Lewistown Y.M.C.A. from 1921 to 1950 , . . is now retired. Marion Snook, a future teacher, Miss M,cCauley, and Lee Wian, a future chemical engineer, are planning for a tomorrow beyond the ordinary. CATHARINE T. WOODS: Class of 1899 . . . graduated from Mt. Holyoke College in 1904 with an A.B. degree . . . attended Presbyterian Bible School in Baltimore from 1906 to 1908 . . . a missionary in China from 1910 to 1946 under the Presbyterian Church of U, S. A. . . . is at present a church visitor in the Presbyterian Church in Lewistown. JANE ELDER: Class of 1900 . . . graduated from Mt. Holyoke College with an A.B. degree in 1905 . . . received her M.A. degree from Columbia University . . . attended Institute Tilly, University of Berlin and Heidelberg University . . . taught German and history in New York City . . . served in Y.M.C.A. work in France with the American Army in 1918-1919 . . . traveled abroad six times . . . is enjoying music. lectures, and theaters in New York City. Instructor in Psychiatric Nursing at New York Hospital, Westchester Division . . . Direc- tor of School of Nursing at Presbyterian Hospital, Newark . . . is now a Neuropsychiatric Nursing specialist for the Veterans Administration Nursing Service in Washington, D. C.
