ATTer manyiweeks oT busy preparaTion, The parTy was Tinally held and proved To be a greaT success. When we reTurned To L. H. S. The 'following year, The world was aT peace, and, consequenTly, we TelT ThaT we could carry on many oT'The acTiviTies which had been inTerrupTed because of war. We sTarTed This year by elecTing our class oTTicers, They were as Tollows: PresidenT, RoberT McClellan: Vice-PresidenT, Marjorie Graham: Treasurer, Deon Clark: SecreTary, Joann Fou- carT. This was a very busy year Tor us. Our boys were again Taking acTive parT in sporTs and, by This year, a number oT Them had become mem- bers oT The VorsiTy Teams. From The very TirsT day of school, we were anxiously anTicipaTing The day ThaT we would have The opporTuniTy oT ordering our class rings, haTs, pennanTs, and pins: buT, beTore we could do This, we had To decide upon our class colors. We chose, Tor The lf-If 01' TirsT Time in The hisTory oT L. H. S., The colors black and whiTe. When The second semesTer rolled around, we sTarTed planning Tor our Jun- ior Prom. The various com'miTTees were ap- poinTecl and The big Task oT preparaTion was begun. The gym was beauTi.Tully decoraTed and, Tor The TirsT Time, The banners oT boTh classes were displayed aT eiTher end oT The gym. Our prom Turned ouT To be a much greaTer success Than we had hoped Tor, Time marched on, and we Tound ourselves back in l.. H. S., buT This Time as Seniors.
