Averil E. Fonts Ruth Kelsey Carrie E. Lake CLARA G. Bohm, ,Head Home Economics The aims in the Home Economics department are to develop in the girls good health habits, to develop an interest in the home and a desire to have a part in its activitiesg to develop an appreciation of the needs and the value of friendships and to help them apply beauty in their homes, their dress, and their personal appearance. These, aims we try to attain through the study of foods, clothing, related art, and home relations. ' -CLARA G. BOND. Chemistry High school chemistry should be taught and studied, not merely for the sake of chemistry, but for the sake ofthe learner. We need chemistry, not primarily to train technicians, but to give the student a view of the scientific mode of approach to his life's problems, that is, ofthe experimental mode. -GEORGE F. CLUKEY.
