Miss Thora McCorkle teaches civic s a nd American History. Her civics c la s s is annually in charge ofthe election for student council officers. Gano Tubb is another Ameri- can His to r y teacher. Besides teaching history, he also coaches. He is a true friend of every stu- dent, a nd is known by everyone for his good-naturedness. 1 Doug Samford who is also on the coaching staff, teaches economics, and Texa s History.
