THE JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY By Erma Jean Donn Our class omginated in 1936 with nine students Erma Jean Donn and Derald Brown are the only remaining pupils of the 9 who started in the first grade In the eighth grade we started with ten students but lost one before the year was over We had a nice graduation with seven graduating Upon entering high school it seemed quite funny, but we soon overcame that 1dea V e had an imtiatlon party, which was enjoyed by all The Freshman class started out with six students Our teachers were Mr Charles Williams Miss Ruth Emerson, and Mrs Maxine Bernard Our Sophomore year started with five pupils, Florene Bixmen and Erma Jean Donn took part in the Junior Play Our teachers were Mr l ee Hull Mrs Thelma Hull and Mrs Modena Buoy Our Junior Class was the smallest so far We had only three students Our teachers are Mr Lee Hull, Mrs Thelma Hull and Mr Orley JA llcox We had Mrs Cllfne Curtiss for about three months tlus year She will filling the vacancy until Mr Wilcox came We rece1ved our class rings about February 15 Erma Jean Donn is the Junior Class President We have given a Junior Play this year played basketball for three years Derald Brown played this year The girls ha taken active part in the Pep Club this year Erma Jean was one ofthe cheerleadez The members of the Junior Class have enjoyed every year in school We hope when we get out of High School we will have as much fun as we have had in the past years of school We are looking forward to being Seniors next year FRESHMAN CLASS HISTORY BY Merna Alleman and Darlene Touslee ll e the Freshman Class of '46 started our first year of high school with eight students We are John Donn, Rolland Rush, Wanda Eberle, Darlene Tous lee Merna Alleman, Mary Siruta, Minnie Hill and John Jacobs During the first semester we lost one of our classmates Minnie Hill Our imtiation, given by our upperclassmen was enjoyed by everyone and made us feel as though we really belonged in Levant High School All of us have gone out for volleyball and basketball Darlene was elected co captain of the basketball team Mary and Wanda l ou were also on the regular squad John Donn was usually m the starting line up on the boys team V anda Lou Darlene, and Merna participated in the Junior Play ' A Pair of Country Kids We are looking forward to our next three years 1n high school, and we hope to enjoy them as much as we have our Freshman year . 9 , V o 0 ' J ' , . : . , - 0 : O -' , , , s 5 ' I ' 0 O , I 7 I I .
