Our class officers are: President, Daane Dawesg Vice-president, Robert Schroeder 3 Secretary-Treasurer, Helen Jensen. We are represented ln the Student Council by Duane Dawes, Bob Ekberg, and Robert Schroeder. We are now going to leave school and go our prospective ways in life taking with us this motto, The Ropes of the Past will Ring the Bells of the Future The Class Flower: Pink Carnation The Class Colors: Rose and White The Class Motto: With the ropes of the past we will ring the bells of the future CLASS POEM LLOYD HAMME Slx Seniors our class contains, Six personalities this class maintains Some of us of growl and smile But we will all fight through the last mile Duane is pres1dent domg his part Bob Ekberg 1n b1ology IS really smart Bob Schroeder takes the girls out in his Chevrolet While Hamme stays home pitching the hay Lloyd Gilhspie spends his day asleep Helen Ienson plans to teach to earn her keep This is all of the class of forty six So take a look at people the future may pick CLASS PRCPHECY By DUANE DAV ES I remember one night fifty years ago, when I and five other members of the Senior Class graduated from good old L I-I S On this night we were very happy that we were graduating and on the other hand we knew we would be leaving a number of good friends behind On every sixteenth day of May I always remenf For instance there is Helen Jensen the only girl of our class I will al ways remember Helen because she was always h loing one of her classmates out when he was behind in his subjects Helen alway wanted to be a school teacher and she has made good because the other day I got a letter from Bob Ekberg say mg that she was teaching the natives in Africa Speaking of Bob Ekberg, by the way who was one of the orneriest k1c 9. that I ever went to school with is a great biolog1st He said that he wasn't going +9 be a farmer because lt was too hard work and th1s is one of the times he was rea serious As you all know he has his laboratory at Colby Well anyway, the other day Iwent up to see hzm and it looks as though he and Joco Sehumaker must have agreed on Maxine for there she was by 1 9 ' 1 - : - 7 ber this incident, and each member of the class. 1 - ' f -Q1 O . , 0

While we are on the name of Bob it reminds me of Robert Schroeder who was the Vice Presfdent of our class Robert always dreaded go1ng to the Army and what do you know, but the other day I got a letter from him and the Pres1dent fs getting ready to appoint h1m Commander ln Ch1ef of the Army He also writes that ,he liked the army s beans so well that he never had to get a Wlfe ' Surely th1s isn t Robert Then next comes to my mind the little boy of our class Lloyd Gilispfe I remember Lloyd because he was always full of spunk for instance, one time I got mto an argument with him over some sweat pants I won the argument and got the pants untfl after school was out and when I went to get them they weren t there Lloyd had already gotten them But do you folks know what he is doing today?
