Like every evolution on the ship, the co-operation of every crew member is required. Hours before leaving port the Engineering Department insures that the lVlason's physical plant is operational. The Radiomen bring up circuits and get radio checks. The Electronics Technicians energize the radar and test its accuracy. Meanwhile supply personnel are making a final check to make sure that everything the ship might need is on board. The Navigator gets the Captain's final approval on the ship's track and the Quartermasters and Radarmen lay out their charts. l
