To my fellow classmates: We live in a world where everything is given a title. We were given the “‘title’’, Class of 1984. This name gave us purpose, direction, and more importantly, a reason to be proud; not so much in what we have accomplished, but in who we are. It gives us the determination to go into the future confident that we will succeed. It is now time for us to leave, but we leave Leominster High, not the Class of 1984. We will belong to this class, and the class to us, forever. The laughter, tears, successes and failures we have shared will always be here for us to learn from and re-experience. As I walk through the halls of L.H.S. I notice many things: the conversation of friends, the heat of arguments, and the elation of people when they have realized success. I suppose that if | would have taken that walk five years ago | would have noticed the same things; but there is something unique about our class that sets us apart. Even from the beginning this was true. We chose not to follow the precedent of others, but rather we fashioned our own. Maybe the reason for this is that we are a class of individuals whose goals are so diverse. This marks the final time that I, as President, will be able to communicate with you before we go on our separate roads. | wish to thank you for your criticism.and confidence in me as your President. These past four years were unlike anything | have experienced. I wish you good luck and bid you farewell. Senior Glass President
