Soe 9eeeeeedeee0e08008080 @ On the sports fields, our class has performed like 4 the number one group we are. From Freshman year on, our class has had outstanding perfor- mances in every sport from field hockey to wres- tling, basketball to track. Members of our class have lent their talents to the 1981 Super Bowl champions, and in the same year, to the field hockey team that reached the district playoffs. The 1982 baseball team reached the district finals aided by the efforts of many members of the class of 1983. The 1982-83 year produced another series of success stories for our class. The football team again rose to a Super Bowl victory. Their com- plete dominance over the opposition proved that they were one of the greatest Leominster football teams of all time. The 1982 version of the soccer team, again reached the district playoffs and trav- elled to the semi-finals. Both the boys and the girls cross country teams fielded solid squads as did the field hockey team. The boys’ basketball and hockey teams were bolstered by a strong nucleus of players from the class of ’83. All this has been accomplished by more than just a few athletes.
