We all have bright future’s to look forward to, yet at the same time it is hard to let go of the past. As | look back on the years we have shared, it is with a strong sense of pride and satisfaction; we have accomplished our goals and grown not only as the Class of 1982 as a whole, but individually as well. We have learned a great deal at Leominster High School from Leominster High School: as students, as members of a very distinctive class—as friends. We have learned about our abilities, our possibilities, about our weaknesses, strengths and about life. Through the friendships we’ve made, through the sharing, caring, and hurting—through our association with L.H.S., we’ve developed as individuals and we are ready to move on. I leave this phase of life with a little sadness—there is so much that we will miss. But we will carry the memories of our high school years in our minds and in our hearts. So we're off! The last thought | would like to take this opportunity to share with you, then, is the wish that all of our dreams come true, that our lives will be happy ones. So strive for that happiness! But happiness as you perceive it—and individuality and potential, of your beauty and special place in this world, the acceptance of yourself as capable and worthwhile—is most important. Like yourself and have faith in yourself. Happiness isn’t measured by fame or wealth, but by becoming your own person. As a Class and as individuals we are truly exceptional. Our years together have proven that: they have been both positive and rewarding. May our future continue along the same path. The very best of luck Class! Some new tra- ditions were added to this annual event, including a Senior Class Breakfast held in honor of the foot- ball players. The busting of the play- ers and cheerleaders was held in the auditorium, following the break- fast and then the seniors were joined by the rest of the school for the main event in the gym. Under the direction of chairpersons Lisa Hale, Sandi Gallagher, and Tim Ep- pley, everyone did a great job.
