30 CLASS ADVISORS To the class of 1979: Four years have quickly gone by and it is now a time to glean the best of the past and to look forward to the future. The times were not always easy, but you learned to make decisions and to cope in difficult situations. You are stronger today for not having had simple answers. We hope, though, that the memories you will keep will be happy ones: of having given the best of yourself, of having shared happy times and laughter with friends, of having accepted and conquered the challenges set before you. In the words of Peter Marshall, “Let not the past ever be so dear to us as to set a limit to the future.”” May your years at L.H.S. be your stepping stones to greater goals and higher aspirations. Look ahead with confidence and self-respect to a future that you have the power to make successful and fruitful. Our sincere congratulations and our very best wishes to each and every one of you.
