The countless numbers that have pre- ceeded you have all experienced the nostalgia that comes with being a part of a proud institution. To the Class of 1979 Congratulations and best wishes to all of you. It was truly remarkable to witness such a smooth transition to single sessions. The Senior Class is to be commended for providing a mature leadership role for the underclassmen. I’ve shared many moments of happiness with you and I will miss you. May the coming years bring you success, happiness and love. Richard P. This distinction, however, is of minor significance when compared with the many other ac- complishments of your class. The Class of ’79 has brought forth a new spirit at L.H.S.; a spirit of commitment and in- volvement which has been missing in recent years. Your boundless enthusiasm and energetic support for both class and school activities was deeply appreciated. The Class of °719 embodies a perfect blend of tradition and change; stu- dents who constantly search for improvement in construc- tive, rational ways.
