Superintendent Joseph Carol The late Robert F. Kennedy said, ''The future does not belong to those who are content with today, apathetic toward common problems and their fellow men alike, timid and fearful in the face of new ideas and bold projects. Rather it will belong to those who can blend vision, reason, and courage in a personal commitment to the ideals and great enterprises of American society. To create the type of future we all desire will require great social and individual changes. You, the young people of today, will be the chief agents in this continy- ing task. I hope that your experiences at Leominster High School have helped to develop in you the desire, willing- ness, and ability to accept the rigorous discipline neces- sary to affect these changes. My best wishes to all of you for a happy and rewarding future. Vice-Principal John F. Joyce What can young people be thinking of nowadays? They care about nothing! They're surely on the highroad to disaster! In the eyes of their elders, each younger generation has been on that road since the dawn of civilization. How soon the older generation forgets the bafflement, frustration, pain, excite- ment, joy, and glory of being young! Having seen many a high-school generation through its school years, I can offer this unsentimental assessment of the Class of 1975: Considering the erosion of authority, permissiveness, distractions, and uncertainties of the times and their pressures on you, most of you have retained your decency, balance, integrity, values, and affirmation of life, andI salute you for it. Principal Aldrich V. Cousins Your three years at Leominster High School have been different and difficult to say the least. Unfortunately, you have never experienced a normal school situation. Through all the problems of space that have plagued us, your class has maintained a desire for excellence in all areas. May this determination to do your best be your guiding goal throughout your life. My sin- cere wishes for the future and may God bless you all.
