SCIENCE With Mr. Michael Cavanagh setting the course, we discov- ered the elements of wind and water. We experimented with the forces of nature and the laws of man. Test tubes and Bunsen burners helped us with mixing our potions. SOCIAL Through the pages of history books we marched. American heroes and Russian statesmen became familiar to us. We were introduced to the men of the world, and we learned to understand them a little better for all our troubles.
