FOREIGN World-wide voyages sponsored by Mr. Eugene Rheault | and captained by the teachers of the foreign language de- partment were offered to the students of L. H. S. Diverse programs offered stays in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and even a venture through the time machine to Ancient Rome. Conversation was the basic purpose for most of these tours and reading, writing, and a ‘feel of the cul- ture'’ were the other benefits. Tickets to return were re- quested by most students. SCIENCE With Mr. Michael Cavanagh setting the course, we discov- ered the elements of wind and water. We experimented with the forces of nature and the laws of man. Test tubes and Bunsen burners helped us with mixing our potions. Set adrift on unknown waters, we would remember fondly our hours spent in science class when the elements of earth and sky would voyage with us again. Mr. Michael Cavanagh—Dept.
