ENGLISH With Mrs. Florence Farwell at the helm, the English Department guided us through essays, discussions, five- minute speeches, selected readings, creative writings and term papers. From them we learned to write our own minds as well as speak them. We met William Shakespeare and his familiar comrades, Hamlet and Henry IV.
