.. MISS LILLIAN RICKER Miss Ricker has meant so much to us, the class of ’69, as a counselor, a respected adult, and a beloved friend. She has been a staff member at L.H.S. for over 30 years, motivating stu- dents and making them conscious of their own worth. It is a characteristic of the person that she teaches by example rather than by words, teaches pupils rather than subjects, and inspires rather than drives. The concern and interest she shows for the students has made her dean of girls and counselor to the boys as well. Never anticipating recognition, she has unselfishly given of herself, her time, and effort. We feel that she has achieved the ultimate success in life by making others successful.
