An auditorium full of holiday-spin ited people braved a cold, mid-Decem- ber evening to hear the Leo Band dur- ing its annual Christmas Concert. Christmas carols could be heard throughout the neighborhood. After his leave of absence because of illness, Mr. Henning returned to conduct his band of 28 years. The concert was curtailed slightly because of the circumstances. The band's tra- ditional holiday was topped off by the jazz Bancl's version of several modern tunes. x A B ,V l .H l , f , . 4 V. ..
