Chairman Charles Dobbin shoulders heavy responsibility in determining school policies. The responsibility of making L.H.S. a well-organized and functioning unit rests with the school board. It is their task to build and repair school plants, determine policies, hire personnel, meet financial bud- gets, and present the schools, their ideals, and policies to the public. They are, in great measure, responsible for Lenoir's being ac- credited by the Southern Association.
