Presiding over the activities of the School Board is its chairman, Mr. T. Glen Miller. SCHOOL BOARD Upon the willing and capable shoulders of these seven business men who give freely of their time falls the responsibility of planning and coordinating the administration and activities of all the schools in the city of Lenoir, including L. H. S. It is the never- ending task of the School Board to secure teachersg determine needed repairs, addi- tions, and changesg fix salaries and bonusesg and make all the minor decisions connected with running our schools. This year a mod- ern new building at Davenport Junior High is visible proof of their labor. All these things, and many others, they have done well. Active members of our School Board are: Mr. T.
