N WCM N :mfs .5 is A 'S '93 JO ANN PREVATTE OF THE YEAR In the upper 25170 of the class, well-dressed, active in school politics and student affairs, re- sponsible and conscientious, the man and woman of the year were chosen by secret ballot of the annual staff. They imbody the qualities which students try to acquire and teachers try to de- velop in each and every one of us. Everybody knows the tall, blond editor of the Lance, football letterman and good sport. His warm personality draws people around, ready to join him in planning a party or getting out a paper, beating an opponent on the field or a rhythm on the dance Hoor. Jo Ann is outstanding in her own way but it is a quiet, feminine way. She does quickly and efficiently many things for her school and class which are necessary but not loudly acclaimed. Her voice in Cabinet is practical and influential but never loud and never bossy. She helps those who call upon her and encourages those who want to go it alone. She has served as Member of the House and Senior Cabinet, and she has made more lovely every place she has gone. Her beauty has been acclaimed several times by her fellow students, and their faith in het ability showed itself when they elected her Secretary- Treasurer of the Senior Class and Secretary of the House of Representatives.
