Right here at LHS, that's T where. The Felix awards recognizes S' t people exeelling in the arts and is ' sponsored by the Drama and Foren- T sics club. This isjust one of the many activities sponsored by the club. They also sold balloons and chili at i football games. They sponsored a contestant in the Lemoore Chamber i of Commerce Christmas queen con- test, attended the performance of The Music Man at West Hills College, and participated in many L speech tournaments. The members aided both the Junior and Senior class plays. ln April, several of the ,Q members traveled to Los Angeles to t C . take in a few plays and to meet the t ' people behind the scenes and to rub 1 t . elbows with the starsf, , ,Q 5, ,, LEFT. Money be- longs in a bank, right? Not in this play. First, it was in a paper bagg then behind a paintingg then in the records: then Fur coats, inven- tions, banana pcelings, half-eaten apples-an interesting combination. They organized such events under the supervision of Re- becca East, German Club advisor. Meetings are scheduled once a month to report on the latest hap- penings of the club and to discuss and field trips or activities concern- ing the club. They celebrated Ger- man holidays such as the Oktober- fest.
