FTA Sends Valentine Grams Valentine grams? at LHS? That's right! They were sold by Future Teacher members prior to that very special day. The club also held a cake raffle at the half-time of the Lemoore-Hanford basketball game. They used the money for scholar- ships and a trip to CSUF. The annu- al Observation Day was held in Jan- uary. The members had the opportu- nity to spend one entire day observ- ing students and teachers at work and at play. A Cappella - Voices Only!! A Cappella, by definition, is to sing without musical accompaniment. Not easy. Have you ever tried it? fother than in the showerj. Their di- rector, Tracy Landrus, gave them the opportunity to sing a variety of music. They even got to hear them- selves sing with the aid of a cassette tape recorder. Would you believe that they didn't like everything they heard. lt gave them a chance to make needed adjustments before they had to make any public appear- ances. Keep on singing!
