A ,i ' ' ' 'Sai' f H.-rg,i-'giiyggyfv ,N w , ,M -1 Vyith the hrst social affair, the Freshman Reception sponsored by us sophomores at the end of the hrst week of school, we made a spirit- eci beginning for the year as hosts at a swim' ming party followed by a dance in the gymnaf slum. The sophomores were successful partici- pants in a few of the school activities of the year. 'l he sophomore boys were winners in the competitive tug of war sponsored by the Boys' Federation when they defeated the seniors. We sophomores also competed in the interclass basketball tournament. The highlight of the year tor us was the selection of our iunior rings with the help of the ring committee, who met with company repre- sentatives. Our class party, which was enjoyed at the close of school, brought the year to a successful close.
