Seniors ' Parting Remembrances We, the ' 35 Senior Class of the Lemoore Union High Schoo;. being of sound and disposing mind, do make, publish, and declare this our last Will and Testa- ment in the following manner; To the faculty we leave the remaining classes to aid and teach, so that they may attain the knowledge we have excelled in. To the juniors, we leave our reputation of being the most intelligent students In school. To the sophomores, wo leave our school spirit and our ability to get along witli our teachers. To the poor, little freshman, we leave our liest wishes for the continuance of the spirit they have shown this year. Individually, we have many possessions which we will to the following: I, Ellsworth Allen, hereby bequeath my ability to make speeches to Alvin May, provided he holds his audience spellbound the way 1 did. I, Lloyd Allen, will my wavy locks to Lloyd Roe, provided he doesn ' t snare the girls. I, John Alves, hereby will to Frank Pereira, after much consideration, my abil- ity to make e.xcuses to Mr. Ward, and to Sody my ability to make the letter A , provided he uses it on the freshman students more than he did on me. I, Willie Avila, will my snabby tronse to Drowser Croulart, provided he doesn ' t look like one any more than he does now. I, Tommy Bassett, will my ability to get along with Miss Clawson to Norman Raney if he takes mechanical drawing, provided he doesn ' t get caught chewing gum more than once a day. I, Vernona Becker, do hereby bequeath my position as cashier in the cafeteria to Laverne Tuzzi, provided she doesn ' t give Jack Stratton free meals. I, Wilma Belvail, will to Helen Kosse my ability to keep thin, provided she doesn ' t eat any more than I do. 1, Jennie Boogaard, will my big foundations to Inez Pereira, provided she uses them while tap dancing. I. Leroy Burlington, will my ability to show oft to Norman Raney, not that he needs it, but because he will use it to the best advantage. I, Margaret Byxbe, will my ability as an artist to Ailene Rose, so that she may make better grades than I did. 1. Joe Cardoso, will my big, bushy eyebrows to Nezzy Mendes, provided he puts away his tweezers for the next three years. I, Alton Chinn, will to Weston FoUett my adoration of Mr. Hanson, my posi- tion in orchestra, and my position as first assistant janitor, provided he doesn ' t get too good a grade from Mr. Hanson, doesn ' t run Clawson out of clarinet and get too friendly with the music teacher, and doesn ' t argue with Jim Bigham. I, Velma Cook, will my supreme dramatic talent to Laverne Tuzzi, hoping that she, with practice, will be as capable as I in holding the students of Lemoore High spellbound in future performances. I, Laura Costa, will my quiet disposition to Evalyn Badasci, provided she doesn ' t become too morose. I, Hedley Davis, will to Norman Raney my ability to run the mile next year, provided he doesn ' t fall down at the finish. I, Claudine Dixon, do hereby bequeath my affection for boys to Jewell Rose, provided she rates as many as I did. I, E;d Downing, in a sober state of mind, will to Slippery Eel , Frank Crawford. my ability to stay on my feet during a football game, so that next year he will not have to roll on the ground and moan. I, Lee Dunlop, will my ability to conduct noon-day conferences to Jack Strat- ton. provided, of course, he has a girl friend. I, Evelyn Fadler, will my ability to manage things to Virginia Curtis, provided she doesn ' t exceed my ability.
