V747 1 3 .l. 1 .-Q ll l Left to right: President, JUNE SHIMABUKU Vice President, ANTHONY TAMANAHA Secretary, JOAN HARADA Treasurer, YOSHIKO OHORI endow We, the class of '56, with stores of treasured memories, bid farewell to our dear old Alma Mater. Recalling the happy years that were spent at Leilehua, we turn these pages and see all our fellow classmates who, after receiving their diplomas, will go out into the world seeking their specific goals. In appreciation, the Seniors extend their heartfelt thanks to their advisors: Miss Mytle Tobey, Mrs. Marion D. Tolbert, Mrs. Helen Schiller, Mrs. Amelia Ryan, Miss Yit Moi Lau, and Mr. Lammy Ching, who have made their year truly wonderful. In early March, the Senior Picnic was held down at Haleiwa. The Banquet followed in May, marking another enjoyable gather- ing for the graduates. The class Day program on May 16 includ- ed the Alumni Luncheon and the Tree Planning Ceremony. Enjoying all the scheduled activities, the Seniors hardly realiz- ed the coming of june, when the Baccaulaureate Service and Commencement Exercises concluded their eventful year. Harmo- niously singing the Alma Mater the class of '56, both happy and sad, were graduated. Yes, with their motto: Do Unto Others As You Would Have Others Do Unto You , they now face the world, ready to tackle the difficult tasks lying ahead of them. Advisor, MISS M. TOBEY
