Lebanon's new coach, the team learned good funda- :nental baseball. With all the hard work that has gone into building up this season's KJCJSSLOII team, next year's should be more promising. Pitchers Rodney Bean and Bill Baker, threevyear letterman, will be leaving us this year, This leaves Don Schaefer, a sophomore, as our only returning pitcher. Dean Beck had the highest batting average ot the season and is one of Lebanon's heavy hitters. Other heavy hitters for this season were Tom Summers, a fine fielding intra baseman, Bill Baker playing the outtield and pitching, Dick Schaefer, a hustling center fielder, Richard Campbell, first baseman, who irrproved his hitting to become one of our better hitters in the latter part of the season. Other positions on the team were played by Gene Red Stewart, second baseman, ,vho showed a great ability to field ground balls. Johnnie Stolsig, who again held catching position, showed much improvement and gave much support to the team. The shortstop position was held down by Wayne Klavano.
