Ray, Campbell, Mastenbrook, Gorman VlSlllll lllUl.S The Lebanon Union High School Visual Education Proiector Operators Group was organized in the early part of October, under the supervision of Mr. Neuman, in re- sponse to the request of the school administration. Three seniors and three iuniors were selected from a group of twenty-five candie dates. They include: Dick Gallagher, Bob Henkle, Roy Campbell, Jerry Ray, Donald Gorman and Harlan Mastenbrook Dean Johnson was placed on the substitute list and his duties were to operate the machines if none of the other members were avail- able. It is to become an established rule that each year three new members be selected from the student body to replace those operators that have graduated from school. During the school year a total of 50 different sound motion pictures have been pro- jected to the various classes. Such interesting films as "Mutiny on the Bounty," "Good Earth," "Gray's Elegy," and "Romeo and Juliet," were shown. Pictures were ordered for every department in school with the exception of the mathematics classes. ln order to become an eligible of this group the individuals must guarantee that they will be present for every instruction meeting called by their advisor. A single un' excused absence will automatically drop the individual from the group of operators and a substitution made to fill the vacancy. This organization is strictly for seniors and iuniors who qualify or prove themselves to be worthy of the position. Special care is taken during the first few instruction meetings to emphasize the importance of taking the utmost care of the machine which they are entrusted to oper- ate. The machine itself in particular the sound movie proiectori must be handled with care at all times. Any individual who is found to be careless is immediately discharged from his duties.
