Another scccessful year has been passed for the Home Eco-
nomics club under the able advisorshlp of Mrs, Bateman the
firsi semester and Mrs. J, Shearer the second semester.
At the first meeting of the club the following officers were
elected: Fay Carroll, president, Pat Bevan, vice president, Gloria
Logan, secrotary-treasurer, Marion LeBaron, social chairman.
During Christmas the club enioyed decorating tiny Christe
rnas trees for the hospital, A few of the other activities were
the decoration of a successful carnival booth, and helping at the
5 various banquets. One of the main events of the year was the
' Schoolmasters' banquet that was held in the l-tome Economics
HY CARROLL building.

les en. The title of the fashion show this year is Madame Pompa-
dourf' The girls are planning on this to be heid May 22 with the Mothers Tea to be
afterwards At a business meeting the girls decided to use money out of their own
treasury for the tea and the show.
The highlight of the year was the annual picnic which was held May 4th at Silvc'
Creek Falls for the girls and their friends.
