The Lebanon High School Band, under the direction ot Miss Julia Barnum, has
been very active this year. The band made numerous public appearances Throughout Q X
the school year, playing at all football and basketball home games. One trip was ,' ,. l
made during the athletic season to play tor the Albany football game. T l

The band gave two time concerts this year, a Christmas program and the annual A i
spring concert in April. fl H l l
There were 50 members in the band, 22 being new. The seniors to graduate this Q tl ' ,,
year are: Rodney Cox, Margaret Champlin, Bob Johnson, Beverly Keebler, Paul Mc- N. L

atc kg 'X The Junior Band is made up of exceptionally well balanced variety of instruments
H 4 , this year. The members have worked especially hard to get into the advanced band.
y ' nv Three former members of this group have been promoted to advanced band during
the year. The band is made up of twenty-three members including seven cornets, five
' clarinets, a saxophone, two French horns, two baritones, a trombone, a sousaphone,
and tour drums.
V sy X? The band members enioyed learning to march and are particularly proud of the
, 'Q 'X red and white uniforms they have worn for the first time this spring.
y i X 1 The two events ot this year in which the Junior Band took part were the Christmas
program and the spring concert at which they played with the beginner's bond and
