The eighth grade is housed in the gym annex of the main school building, although
some of the eighth grade classes are held in other rooms ot the building. This gives
the class a good idea ot the arrangement of the building that will stand them in hand
for their years to come in the school system.
There are many students of the eighth grade who have taken an active part in
the music department ot the school. These students are well represented in both the ,
band and glee club. 3
The participation in the bond drives by the eighth grade students has been 'ex-
cellent. They ranked second in the school in their purchases. They have played their .b
part on the home front that our men might have better protection on the battle front.
The one big event in the life of every eighth grade student is the annual class party.
This was held March 23, in the gym, and was a huge success according to the comments
of the students. A

number of lower division members in the band.
The seventh grade has been very enthusiastic about buying stamps and bonds this
year. So far they have the highest record ot sales. During the Sixth War Loan their
sales exceeded S6,000.
The big event of the year was the class party in the gym on April 25th. All plans
for this party were made in a class meeting. Committees were appointed that took
charge of everything. The evening was a success in every way.
The Seventh Grade was TOOK, in the purchase of student body tickets. A large f
percentage has been in attendance at all games to boost for "Our Team." fx
This class has so much pep and enthusiasm that they give promise of being an out- f D
standing class for Lebanon High. rv-X'
