The entire class took a trip to Albany tor a skating party fl- which also included tree beverages tor everyone. lt was discovered . Vs, that there were two outstanding skaters among us, Joe Baca and Duane Smith. Later in the spring our annual class party was held. y The St. Patrick's theme was carried out. fXfZctZQ and Norman Weekly. Dennis and Norman won third place in their division, and Zatu placed in the finals. The Junior Class felt the influence ot war this year by losing .nine of their class :numbers in the graduating class. They are: Arthur Cobb, Margaret Champlin, Larry Christian, Paul McCracken, Duane Pierce, David Powell, Kenneth Shores, Quindella Taylor, and Norman Weekly. The main event for the Junior Class is the Junior-Senior Prom. Zata Sinclair was chosen as prom chairman. During the year the class sponsored three dances and one skating party in Albany. WQWWF WWQCVQU 2 Paul Alley, and Eugene Simi, Paul Alley, Bud Goold, cmd Elmer Fields also play base- ball. Pat Canoga and Fayne Blackburn are the class representatives in Girl's League. Pick Hobbs and Ron Cox are members ot the Hi-Y Club. ' The sophomores working on the Hi-Light staff are Pat Worland, Fayne Blackburn, Arden Keebler, Liela Barry, and Judy Swanson. Charles Gram, the solo cornetist, and Jean Burns, Corabelle Edes, Diana Edes, Mary Gene Gregory, Dick Hobbs, Joan Humphreys, Arden Keebler, Norman Schmidt, and Elva Thomas are members ot the band. Those who belong to the Glee Club are '- Patty Caughren, Shirley Clendenen, Barbara Devine, Vernetta Joy, Linda Mae Kroker, f Dorothy Starnes, Eldon Shanks, Pat Wagy, Jean Sledge, Joyce Shell, Judy Swanson, Maxine Rowton, Delores White, and Dorothy Reed. Judy Swanson and Ramona Ed- X,--f' wards are members of the sextette. The artists of the class are Marlys Sinclair, Alice l-lansell and Remmel Nivens. ,X X The following members ot the class were elected our officers, President, Charles Gram, vice-president, Ron Cox, secretary, Mary Gene Gregory, treasurer, Bob Downing, sergeant-at-arms, Paul Alley, representative, Judy Swanson.
