On May Day of the year l964 was held the reunion banquet of the
graduating class of 44
Lucille Christ had charge of the lighting arrangements as she
knows so much about effects after entertaining in a cabaret in Paris
for the last few years Bob Cate brought the daffodils from his "Peo-
ria Pretty Posie Plantation. He also raises onions. Mane Beale. the
Mocking Bird of the airways was the vocalist of the evening. She
sang the Operatic score YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE. Kyle Calahan
was the toastmaster of the evening. You all remember Kyle-that
loud boisterous and exceptionally good speaker in fourth period
Betty Brown and Bonnie Bates brought their BB ci BB flea cir-
cus Myl How well those little fellows were trained. lt s all in know-
ing how to handle them. Then with a fanfare of trumpets Ralph
Cooper now Head Attendent in the Lebanon Feeble-Minded Home,
wheeled in those relics of class room days-Miss Brown and Miss
Ender HONOR GUESTS for the evening.
As Hallie Ashton entered the question flashed through everyone's
mind' Will Iirn Woodruffe propose tonight after all of these
years'P'?'?'? Hallie has five hope chests filled and still has hopes. Mr.

Lucinda Christ was unable to attend as she is in Africa collecting
Hootie Tootie charms. However she sent her regrets and said that
the flies were terrible there.
Iamie Gilbert fFra:nceD finally gave in to his wife Lois CG1lbertD
after ten years of quarreling. They came. Lois Meuler Manville 83rd
wife of Tommy Manville arrived in satin and furs accompanied by her
just new husband for a change.
Peggy Raines and LeRoy O Brien are partners in the Gruesome
and Lonely Undertaking Parlor situated on the corner of Main and
Vine streets Peggy wore black as usual and LeRoy still has his yellow
tie we see
Newly weds arrived! Lavelle Marquardt and Clifford Keyser and
Iulietta Pape and Kenny Fisch Double wedding and all four still

Dorothy Powell came directly from "Rowtons" where she models
wedding rings. Ola Mae is proprietress.
Ierry Baker, producer of the "frilly frilly filly" play, was there
without his Women. All of the girls from Bakers play were put out
with Bob Crandall which made him considerably late.
Mel Solbergrthe "Shiek of Sciof' brought the main interests in his
harem, Louise Kruml and Carryl Smyth.
Hugh Watts and Kathryn Voegelein are rumored engaged. Good
luck, kids! Kathryn now has full charge of the Coffee Shop, we don't
blame you, Hugh.
Libby Spiruta, who is teaching gymnastics at our Alma Mater,
came with Eldon Raber. head coach and former All-American football
Dorothy Sherly and Adrian Smith share the responsibility as Dean
of Women at L. H. S. lDoes Adrian like his job, wowll
eWilda Smith, one time arsonist, is now chief of the City Fire De-
Betty Stryker, gold-digger, has her own mine now. Boy is she going

Florence Abbott tests various hair dyes at Leslie Ufford's dye
works. She was ravishing in a stunning "Blue Monday Model," at the
Marceline Bonge Winstead, owner of "Blondie's Salon for Beauti-
ful Women," also modeled a fascinating green shade. Remember the
days when red hair was popular? Bill Winstead. Marceline's man,
lsells lingerie from door to door.
Mary Grant had extra seats at her table for the ten little sailors.
Ralph Schrouder, seen. about town with chorus girls, Zelda Adam-
son, Betty Heyne, and Helen Miles, deserted all of them and came
with Ieanne Robin.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wilson, the former Ramona Stinger. came, too.
They raise brussels sprouts on their farm near Myers Park.
Bryce Bartruif. M. D., woman specialist, and his nurse, Virginia
Bowen. flew in from Florida. -
Mr. and Mrs. Lad-die Pesek, Knee Kathleen Pattersonl. carrie in from
Marshfield. Ladclie is a pansy planter, while Kathy devotes her life
to angle worms and electric eels.
