Oct. 19-We understand that one member of the Freshman class considers 100 a pretty good grade. Is that right Betty? Oct. 20-According to Miss Harris, Jeanette is very green. Do we agree? Oct. 21-Mrs. Callon: Don't you think any father investigates the past of a young man who wishes to marry his daughter, just the same as Ludogran did? Ruth Baker: Oh, yes, I hear it all the time at home. Oct. 22--Miss Strohminger left at noon for her home. Poor Freshman! I'd hate to have Dorothy boss me, wouldn't you, Ike? Oct. 25'--The Physics class has the privilege of teaching our principal to count. Seniors, Rah! Oct. 26-M. W. only combed her hair seven times today. Oct. 27-Glee Club practice! Oct. 28-The Seniors certainly do get a kick out of a furlough. Oct. 29-This once, the Seniors of L. H. S. decided to forsake their dignity and have a "Kid Party." Nov. l-Mr. Hawk's jokes are good-the color of blue vitrol is green. Nov. Z-Seniors ordered class rings and pins. Nov. 8-Two new students. Welcome Lucille and Jesse. - , Nov. 9-Ladies' Day. We learn some interesting facts. Nov. 10-We get an idea of what the teachers think of "setting-up" exercises. Nov. ll--We learn the origin of the superstition of the "black cat." Dismissed for the afternoon. Nov. 12-Do you anticipate a wart when you touch a toad? Ask Mrs. Berry if she does. Nov. lf--"Touchy" times for Seniors. Their kid brothers and sisters are borrowing money to pay class dues. Nov. 16-Sounded like whooping cough up in the Lab. during chemistry period. Nov. Nov. Nov. Nov. 17-Some students seem to like the sewing room better than Clee Club. 18-Assemblies thrown right and left. Hurrah for Mr. Adams. 19-Mrs. Callon is a sweet one, says M. R. S. Wonder what caused this outburst? 22-Miss Strohminger sick. Good luck for Bookkeeping Class. We are sorry that Mr. Bangham is so grumpy, but we wonder why? Nov. 23-Gravity freezes up. Prove it, Mr. Hawke. Nov. 24-Mary Lou, a song hit, is being taught in detention room, right after school. Everybody welcome! Dismissed for rest of week. K U Jan. 4-Fight in room H today. Since the juniors must fight somewhere that seems to be a very appropriate place. Jan. 5'-We hear that some of the Faculty had very strenuous vacations. Ian. 6-Ohio Wesleyan's Coach gave the High School a very interesting and enjoyable talk this afternoon. Ian. 7-Notice! One of our trusting, innocent, little juniors grew tired of the heavy trials and tribulations of this earthly sphere and tried to commit suicide by drinking HCL in Lab. today. jan. 10-The day before the day after. Jan. ll-Semesters and groans start today. Jan. 12-Mr. Callon has promised his American History Class nice curly hair after today. Jan. 13-One of the students of L. H. S. informs us that it doesn't pay to have your birthday on the thirteenth-three semester tests. Ian. 14-"This is my lucky day."-no tests. Ian. 17-The period of the 'revival of learning," has mysteriously disappeared. Jan. 18-We owe no blame to our industrious juniors, who are taking Chemistry, that we do not get a new High School biulding immediately. jan. 19-Operetta practice. h jan. 20-If you haven't seen the Seniors' new class rings and pins it is through no fault of t eirs.
