The Future Farmers of America is the National organizations for boys studying agri- culture in the public secondary schools of the U. S. National headquarters of the Future Farm- ers of America is located in the Division of Vo- cational and Technical Education, Office of Ed- ucation, Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, Washington, D. C. National Conven- tions are held annually in Kansas City, Missouri. Virginia State Convention is held each summer at the State Agriculture College at Blacksburg, Virginia. The primary aim of the Future Farmers of America is the development of agricultural leadership, co-operation and citizenship. F. F. The thirty-four members of the Junior Tri-Hi-Y have been very active this year. Some of the projects spon- sored by them were: taking magazines and place cards to the local hospital, helping an aged man at Christmas, conducting devotions at lunch, selling nabs, and spon- soring programs for student body. ' sat the County Fair and presenting programs at Christmas and Thanksgiving, they took magazines to the jail, sent delegates to M.G. A., and helped give the bless- ing at the lunch periods. The French Club had sixty-two members. This includes French I, French II, and French III. In September, French I was initiated into the French Club. The French Club won first prize for its float in the Homecoming parade. The Mardi Gras is the main activity sponsored by the club. In the spring, French III presented a play to the school.
