The 1981-82 school year was a year filled with style. The mood was nonchalant and every stu- dent had a chance to develop his own style. Many stayed with the preppy look and sported the famous alligator and kelly green duck shoes with pride, while some students said usee ya later, alligator! , and purchased a ward- robe of designer outfits, the more popular brands being lordache, Calvin Klein, and Sergio Valente. The western-look remained popu- lar and was accented by the pro- duction of the school musical, OkIahoma!. Mind-boggling games were seen in the hands of many stu- dents and 'cubeitis became a common ailment. Pac-Man Fever swept through the 3 rings of LHS as quarters were fed in huge numbers to the variety of video machines available, Above: Talent abounds as Ron Pfister displays his skateboard maneuvers. WE'VE GDT Lebanon High even tried creat- ing a new style of pep assembly! As school spirit began to diminish, Mr. Stone placed Mr. Barry and Mr. Coles in charge of initiating a different kind of pep assembly- and different it was!! As a gorilla ran around and between the as- tonished cheerleaders, the crowds roared. A raw chicken represent- ing the Cedar Crest Falcon was placed in the center of the gym-only to be beaten by the gorilla to the strains of the song, l'Whip lt!
