WE'VE GOT THE EXPERIENCE WANTED: Retail Sales Manager. Experience a must. Contact . . . How often we looked at these ads and wondered how we were to gain experience. Luckily for some of the students at LHS, a few local businesses were willing to hire younger workers. While getting that experience, we also earned some extra money for the little things in life. But often, once we had the money, we didn't have the time to spend it because we were working. Yes, working also meant responsibility and missing a lot of activities. Was it worth it? Sometimes it didn't seem to be, but as our savings accounts grew for college, or as we bought our new motorcycles, we began to see the usefulness of all that hard work.
